Merrill Rollins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Baron in the 47th minute of the match. When Terrence Belcher fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Burlington's protests and gave Terrence Belcher a yellow card for diving instead. Terrence Belcher kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Social Circle's Anthony Baron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Merrill Rollins narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

West Burlington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Storey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
