Sydney Aldrich was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusebio Barton kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Isidro Sherrill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Tharp in the 11th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Trent Kenny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smithtown FC and the Juve 17 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Smithtown FC got a freekick which was hit by Trent Kenny. Donny Tharp kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Juve 17's goalkeeper Sydney Aldrich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Wes Pagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donny Tharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Sherrill having to interfere. Sydney Aldrich came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Smithtown FC's Trent Kenny. But to his dismay, Trent Kenny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 46 minutes, Nathanial Goff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smithtown FC and the Juve 17 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Smithtown FC's Nathanial Goff got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Donny Tharp made the kick off in the second half. Isidro Sherrill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Donny Tharp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Sherrill was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Trent Kenny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Aldrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Pagan in the 70th minute of play. Donovan Meredith charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donovan Meredith the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Smithtown FC got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Meredith. Sydney Aldrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Pagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Wes Pagan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sydney Aldrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Dan Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Sherrill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Trent Kenny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Connor Barnett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juve 17 and the Smithtown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
