The coaching staff of South Eliot AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jesse Jacob had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for South Eliot AFC!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domenic Lockhart was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind South Eliot AFC's goalkeeper Casey Worthington, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Domenic Lockhart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallingford AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenic Lockhart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Tuan Bauman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domenic Lockhart in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casey Worthington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wallingford AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
