Terrence Belcher kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Donny Tharp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Merrill Rollins, 1-0. If Dan Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, West Burlington's Arturo Storey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Aldrich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dominic Hoffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Hoffman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Aldrich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominic Hoffman ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Dominic Hoffman managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Burlington's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominic Hoffman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Aldrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Connor Barnett hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, West Burlington's Merrill Rollins got control of the ball when Dan Santiago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arturo Storey struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Sydney Aldrich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Burlington. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Hoffman in the 42nd minute of play forced Juve 17's goalkeeper Sydney Aldrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jason Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Aldrich having to interfere. Sydney Aldrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Hoffman in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Arturo Storey could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Sydney Aldrich however easily saved by the left post. Arturo Storey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merrill Rollins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, West Burlington's Odell Pierre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 72nd minute, Dominic Hoffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Connor Barnett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Dominic Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Aldrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Storey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Aldrich having to interfere. Donny Tharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Tharp in the 83rd minute of play forced West Burlington's goalkeeper Merrill Rollins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Edward Phelps was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Burlington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juve 17 the free kick. After 88 played minutes West Burlington got a freekick which was hit by Edward Phelps. In the 92nd minute Dan Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merrill Rollins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. West Burlington's Merrill Rollins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Santiago in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Juve 17 fans cheered their team off the field, for while West Burlington had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
