Lahore Lions's Jarrett Driver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Lahore Lions from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Garrison in the 30th minute of play forced Moultrie FC's goalkeeper Palmer Stern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Moultrie FC got a freekick which was hit by Grant Rivera. After having played for 47 minutes, Dalton Smiley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lahore Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalton Smiley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Benito Eddy made the kick off in the second half. When Moultrie FC's Benito Eddy in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jarrett Driver guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 53rd minute Dalton Smiley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmer Stern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Moultrie FC's Palmer Stern got control of the ball when Colin Garrison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joey Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Driver having to interfere. Rick Russ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dalton Smiley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colin Garrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Palmer Stern having to interfere. Jarrett Driver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Eddy in the 85th minute of play. Palmer Stern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalton Smiley in the 92nd minute of play.
