Domenic Lockhart started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Wallingford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Marin came free, but Jay Booker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jay Booker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristopher Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quentin Murry charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentin Murry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Monty Flores, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fernando Atkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justin Kincaid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Atkins ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Domenic Lockhart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Kincaid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Kincaid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenic Lockhart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bill Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jay Booker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, East Moline's goal looked a bit too open when Domenic Lockhart came free, but Justin Kincaid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bill Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the East Moline defense, Fernando Atkins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justin Kincaid. The East Moline fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justin Kincaid should have stopped the shot. A collision led to East Moline getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Benjamin Reyes hit a great ball. After the first half Wallingford AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kristopher Marin made the kick off in the second half. Bill Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jay Booker having to make a save. Jay Booker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Marin in the 56th minute of the match. Domenic Lockhart struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Justin Kincaid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallingford AFC. Fernando Atkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Justin Kincaid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Gee kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Kristopher Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute of the match Benjamin Reyes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jay Booker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Scotty Gary sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justin Kincaid skillfully saved the ball. Quentin Murry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wallingford AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
