Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matthew McCall took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes in the game, Geoff Hirsch fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Reggie Person having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Freddie Doe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paris FC's Joesph Yates was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joesph Yates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Doe in the 8th minute of play. Joesph Yates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cody Davila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie Doe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reggie Person made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everett DeJesus in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Paris FC's Frankie McCord dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Reggie Person took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everett DeJesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Freddie Doe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cody Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquis Spaulding recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddie Doe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joesph Yates read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Joesph Yates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marquis Spaulding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie Doe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew McCall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joesph Yates having to make a save. Joesph Yates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew McCall in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geoff Hirsch to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Matthew McCall managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate Miami's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew McCall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joesph Yates breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Doe got free with Joesph Yates in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marquis Spaulding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddie Doe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Joesph Yates made a huge save. Frankie McCord's late challenge caught a River Plate Miami's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frankie McCord helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paris FC's Frankie McCord got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Paris FC's zone, Marquis Spaulding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joesph Yates came out of the goal and Marquis Spaulding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marquis Spaulding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddie Doe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joesph Yates firmly grabbed it by the left post. River Plate Miami's Marquis Spaulding got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matthew McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joesph Yates having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Paris FC's Everett DeJesus made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reggie Person was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reggie Person took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thaddeus Gillespie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paris FC's Joesph Yates proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Paris FC from getting a goal against them. River Plate Miami were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Paris FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marquis Spaulding took the corner. The corner led River Plate Miami's Marquis Spaulding to fire away a dangerous shot which Joesph Yates despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Freddie Doe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joesph Yates having to interfere. The Paris FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
