Leroy Peralta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Jefferson having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Clarksville! The goalkeeper, Brandon Cesario, was totally fooled by Boulder City AFC's Damian Kearney, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Leroy Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ace Gould got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wilmer Bain. Clarksville's Olin Alonzo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ace Gould, made in the 19th minute of the game. If Leroy Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Leroy Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Jefferson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Clarksville's Brandon Cesario got control of the ball when Brendon Patton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Boulder City AFC booed when Clarksville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olin Alonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clarksville's zone, Brendon Patton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Cesario came out of the goal and Brendon Patton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brendon Patton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Brandon Cesario made a huge save. A collision led to Clarksville getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Olin Alonzo hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Wilmer Bain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Brendon Patton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brandon Cesario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toby Cates made a kick off. Brandon Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Patton in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Clarksville defense, Wilmer Bain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brandon Cesario. The Clarksville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brandon Cesario should have stopped the shot. Clarksville's attentive Leroy Peralta managed to snatch the ball when Wilton Sheldon made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Brendon Patton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes in the game Ace Gould did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Al Cordova. 75 minutes into the match, Clarksville's goal looked a bit too open when Wilmer Bain came free, but Brandon Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Moises Cotton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brandon Cesario. Clarksville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Cotton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Bryce Howe charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryce Howe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Clarksville got a freekick which was hit by Bryce Howe. In the 83rd minute of the match Damian Kearney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brandon Cesario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Clarksville's Toby Cates got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 92nd minute Brendon Patton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilmer Bain made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Clarksville's Leroy Peralta. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boulder City AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clarksville had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
