They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernie Kraft made a kick off. Shelby Nava made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Clarksville's Olin Alonzo. Leroy Peralta struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Merle Farris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clarksville. In the 61st minute Darnell Shelton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Barth came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Brandon Cesario could save by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Clarksville's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Ezell came free, but Brandon Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clarksville reached it. Bernie Kraft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merle Farris having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Shelby Nava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
