In the 18th minute of the match, Raphael Devine tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roland Major saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 20th play minutes Marvin Quinones shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Blake Blair and just under the crossbar into goal. Blake Blair showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marvin Quinones in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Delgado in the 27th minute of play forced Palm Springs FC's goalkeeper Blake Blair to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palm Springs FC's Blake Blair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marvin Quinones in the 28th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Cason Mims sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blake Blair skillfully saved the ball. If Walter Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Major took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Swan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Maynard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Woody Godwin to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Maynard FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
