German Payton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Ulrich in the 19th minute of the match. If Tom Burke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes of play, High Ridge AFC's Berry Keith made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Gorman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moses Moses hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Erik Gorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berry Keith, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Tom Burke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Payton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Ulrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gerard Ransom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Gorman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Berry Keith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Gorman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Moses Moses managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Olathe's supporters rose to their feet, but Moses Moses was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Payton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Payton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Sporting Olathe's Erik Gorman got control of the ball when Gerard Ransom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, High Ridge AFC's Ernest Patten got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tom Burke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Theo Ulrich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Payton. High Ridge AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theo Ulrich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The High Ridge AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sporting Olathe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
