Ken Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Bruce in the 12th minute of the match. Ken Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxwell Garrison, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ken Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Bolton in the 25th minute of play. Merrill Swenson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Todd Dale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Savage hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ken Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Garrison in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of FC STATES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Springfield FC:s goal. Gavino Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ken Flores made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Max Bolton sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the game, one of FC STATES:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 0-2 came through a penalty shot after 71 played minutes, when Springfield FC:s Max Bolton calmly waited for FC STATES:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Max Bolton came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ken Flores could save by the left post. The supporters of Springfield FC booed when FC STATES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Olivar struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Lanny Cobb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC STATES. In the 85th minute, Vincenzo McPherson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tracey Knight made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tom Kessler. Springfield FC played a much better game than FC STATES and deserved their victory. The FC STATES players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
