High Ridge AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Ransom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gary Toth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerard Ransom might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gary Toth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerard Ransom ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Newtown Grant FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
