With a little luck, New Whiteland FC's Peter Cuevas got control of the ball when Moses Moses tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of New Whiteland FC booed when Sporting Olathe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Quentin Marshall managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Whiteland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Marshall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
