In the 17th minute, Cason Clements left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pittsburgh Pirates fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Geoffrey Rivera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cason Clements's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 20 played minutes The Alliance Fc got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Egan. Tad Morris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geoffrey Rivera having to make a save. After 27 played minutes The Alliance Fc got a freekick which was hit by Norman Tran. Tomas Yost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwayne Johnson in the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Luna during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, The Alliance Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Egan to maneuver through the defense. The Alliance Fc were furious when Melvin Sutherland was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Pittsburgh Pirates a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cason Clements, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Alliance Fc's Geoffrey Rivera. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cason Clements was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to The Alliance Fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Norman Tran hit a great ball. Geoffrey Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cason Clements, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Pittsburgh Pirates booed when The Alliance Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaughn Curtis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, The Alliance Fc's Geoffrey Rivera got control of the ball when Tad Morris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norman Tran's late challenge caught a Pittsburgh Pirates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norman Tran helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes The Alliance Fc got a freekick which was hit by Norman Tran. Tad Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes The Alliance Fc got a freekick which was hit by Lazaro Renteria. Geoffrey Rivera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cason Clements, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Alliance Fc's Geoffrey Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cason Clements in the 91st minute of play. Milan Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the match was over Pittsburgh Pirates could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Alliance Fc throughout the match.
