Lamar's Davis Pollock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanh Fletcher in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Wilburton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Moseley came free, but 彭星银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Jamel Fulton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 彭星银. Wilburton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jamel Fulton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Thanh Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davis Pollock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Weathers, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lamar's zone, Thanh Fletcher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davis Pollock came out of the goal and Thanh Fletcher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Wilburton FC's Thanh Webber got a free kick in the 24th minute. Lamar's Vance Allen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wilburton FC. If Quentin Moseley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jamel Fulton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wilburton FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Thanh Fletcher hit a great ball. Vance Allen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Thanh Fletcher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wilburton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamar the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Moseley in the 39th minute of play forced Wilburton FC's goalkeeper 彭星银 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes, Adolfo Potter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamar and the Wilburton FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jamar Weathers's late challenge caught a Lamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamar Weathers helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lamar booed when Wilburton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamar Weathers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilburton FC's 彭星银 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamel Fulton in the 74th minute of play. 彭星银 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Moseley, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Lamar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
