In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berwick AFC's goalkeeper Boyd Ludwig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Art Pulliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sherwood Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Art Pulliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sherwood Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Earl Castle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Port au Voleurs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berwick AFC the free kick. In the 20th minute, one of Port au Voleurs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Port au Voleurs. Dante Gill placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The audience was convinced that Art Pulliam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sherwood Pacheco was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Monte Stark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orville Herron hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Port au Voleurs's zone, Art Pulliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sherwood Pacheco came out of the goal and Art Pulliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sherwood Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Pulliam in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Berwick AFC's Art Pulliam made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sherwood Pacheco was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Berwick AFC's Eliseo Forrest got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
After a rather tough play, Berwick AFC's Junior Patrick got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Rowan during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes, Berwick AFC's Samuel Avery shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sherwood Pacheco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Berwick AFC reached it. In the 57th minute Art Pulliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sherwood Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ty Wiseman fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Port au Voleurs's protests and gave Ty Wiseman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Port au Voleurs getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ari Oakley couldn't finish the play. Boyd Ludwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Oakley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sherwood Pacheco was a little too slow when Art Pulliam got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-3. 71 minutes into the match, Port au Voleurs's goal looked a bit too open when Art Pulliam came free, but Sherwood Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Art Pulliam came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Berwick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Art Pulliam couldn't finish the play. Art Pulliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sherwood Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Art Pulliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sherwood Pacheco having to interfere. Dante Gill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ari Oakley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Boyd Ludwig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berwick AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
