Roman Judd was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. The supporters of Paranaense Soccer Club booed when Wahoos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Judd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominic Arrington missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 25 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Emery Edmondson right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Ring got free with Emery Edmondson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peter Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrell Wills in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrell Wills in the 38th minute of play forced Paranaense Soccer Club's goalkeeper Peter Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrell Wills, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The Paranaense Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Molina should have stopped the shot. Wahoos FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Paranaense Soccer Club had won, even though Wahoos FC had held more of the ball.
