Sherwood Pacheco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Port au Voleurs getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Orville Herron hit a great ball. Francisco Sykes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 16 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Sherwood Pacheco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Lester in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Cloquet's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Oakley came free, but Darren Tidwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Phillip Braxton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernie Peachey's late challenge caught a Port au Voleurs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernie Peachey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cloquet's Ernie Peachey got a free kick in the 24th minute. Monte Stark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Phillip Braxton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sherwood Pacheco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Ari Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Tidwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Monte Stark made a precise shot to the right of Darren Tidwell. Cloquet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cloquet's zone, Ty Wiseman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Tidwell came out of the goal and Ty Wiseman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sherwood Pacheco made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Phillip Braxton sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ari Oakley to strike the kick off in the second half. Sherwood Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip Braxton in the 59th minute of play. Darren Tidwell was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Ari Oakley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ari Oakley really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. If Ari Oakley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Stark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Darren Tidwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ari Oakley was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Port au Voleurs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 76 minutes into the match, Cloquet's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Castle came free, but Darren Tidwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Phillip Braxton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sherwood Pacheco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 83rd minute Ari Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Tidwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Port au Voleurs getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Earl Castle hit a great ball. Sherwood Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Braxton, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
