Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5002, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 3) Wahoos FC's Tyrell Wills started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Alfonso Ciccaglione hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wade Weldon got free with Emery Edmondson in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Tyrell Wills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Glover saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emery Edmondson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Hong in the 13th minute of the match. Emery Edmondson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brant Powell, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Tyrell Wills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Chicago FC's Ethan Aguilar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Wahoos FC's Emery Edmondson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Wahoos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Brant Powell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emery Edmondson. The goal made the score 2-0. Danny Glover made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrell Wills in the 36th minute of play. Roman Judd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Glover read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Tyrell Wills recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Judd in the 40th minute of play forced Chicago FC's goalkeeper Danny Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wade Weldon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emery Edmondson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Tyrell Wills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Glover saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brant Powell to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Chicago FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Daniels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wade Weldon in the 63rd minute of play forced Wahoos FC's goalkeeper Emery Edmondson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emery Edmondson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brant Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Roman Judd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wahoos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Judd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Glover breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Allen Walsh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roman Judd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Glover made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Judd in the 87th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Wahoos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Powell came free, but Emery Edmondson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicago FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
