Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Julian Lester started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Cloquet's Phillip Braxton in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berwick AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the game, Julian Lester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Boyd Ludwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 13 minutes into the match, Berwick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Braxton came free, but Boyd Ludwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Gill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Art Pulliam in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darren Tidwell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Dante Gill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Art Pulliam in the 27th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Darren Tidwell kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After having played for 33 minutes, Art Pulliam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berwick AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Pulliam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Art Pulliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berwick AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Art Pulliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Tidwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Darren Tidwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Pulliam in the 37th minute of play. Darren Tidwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Pulliam in the 40th minute of the match. Ernie Peachey's late challenge caught a Berwick AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernie Peachey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Berwick AFC booed when Cloquet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Peachey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justin Esparza kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Darren Tidwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Pulliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Phillip Braxton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 59 minutes, Eliseo Forrest mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berwick AFC and the Cloquet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berwick AFC's Eliseo Forrest got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cloquet's zone, Art Pulliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Tidwell came out of the goal and Art Pulliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Art Pulliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Tidwell having to interfere. Darren Tidwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Patrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Art Pulliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darren Tidwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dante Gill went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Julian Lester struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Boyd Ludwig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cloquet. Art Pulliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Darren Tidwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cloquet's Darren Tidwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Pulliam in the 86th minute of play. Art Pulliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Art Pulliam sped through Cloquet's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Darren Tidwell. Cloquet's Phillip Braxton got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Phillip Braxton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berwick AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
