Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wesley Carver made the kick off which started today's match. Wesley Carver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Hawthorne having to interfere. With his leg Ricky Hawthorne managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Escalon's Daron Bright fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daron Bright blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricky Hawthorne having to make a save. Woody Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ricky Hawthorne was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wesley Carver showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Daron Bright might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricky Hawthorne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daron Bright ran back to his position shaking his head. Wesley Carver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricky Hawthorne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daron Bright in the 24th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Wesley Carver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Side Highway FC's Ricky Hawthorne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, West Side Highway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Looney to maneuver through the defense. Daron Bright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Hawthorne having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, West Side Highway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarod Dudley to maneuver through the defense. Daron Bright received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ricky Hawthorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Thorne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Looney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Carver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Hawthorne having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Looney was the one to do the kick off. Ricky Hawthorne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Carver, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Wesley Carver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Hawthorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Carver in the 61st minute of play forced West Side Highway FC's goalkeeper Ricky Hawthorne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky Hawthorne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daron Bright's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. West Side Highway FC's Ricky Hawthorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Bright in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Wesley Carver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. West Side Highway FC's Ned Yu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Escalon. Ricky Hawthorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daron Bright in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, West Side Highway FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Woody Abel to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, West Side Highway FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Carver came free, but Ricky Hawthorne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricky Hawthorne came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Escalon's Daron Bright. But to his dismay, Daron Bright quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Justin Looney managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Side Highway FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justin Looney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Thorne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Merlin Godfrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Escalon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
