Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wesley Carver kicked off to start the match. In the 2ndth minute of the game Jose Hopper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escalon's Carlo Thorne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Werner Rodriquez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. The referee gave Escalon a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sol Hinkle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vampiric fc's Reynaldo Erwin. 1-0. Escalon's Carlo Thorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Ruff in the 10th minute of play. Carlo Thorne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Ruff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Thorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Hopper in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Vampiric fc booed when Escalon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Thorpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Vicente Ruff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesley Carver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Erwin having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, Vicente Ruff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlo Thorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Ruff in the 28th minute of play. Jose Hopper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Carlo Thorne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Vicente Ruff made a precise shot to the right of Carlo Thorne. Escalon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jose Hopper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Thorne having to interfere. Vicente Ruff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carlo Thorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicholas Fitzgerald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Hopper to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Edward Connors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Escalon's zone, Jose Hopper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlo Thorne came out of the goal and Jose Hopper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Edward Connors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vampiric fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Connors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlo Thorne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Connors in the 60th minute. Jose Hopper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Carlo Thorne made a huge save. Vampiric fc's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Edward Connors was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 67th minute, Jerry Moyer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlo Thorne, passed just outside the right post. Duke Haney charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duke Haney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Escalon's Duke Haney got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Vicente Ruff came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Vampiric fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ruff couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Vicente Ruff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Thorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Vampiric fc getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jerry Moyer hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Erik Thorpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jose Hopper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Vicente Ruff recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlo Thorne. Vicente Ruff showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Escalon's zone, Vicente Ruff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vampiric fc were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
