Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Lester to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Phillip Braxton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match, Wesley Carver tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Darren Tidwell saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Cloquet getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ernie Peachey hit a great ball.
