Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Donovan Grady started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Green were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Sound Beach's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Colby Singletary took the corner. The corner led Green's Colby Singletary to fire away a dangerous shot which Dirk Rich despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Terry Dolan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Grady in the 14th minute of play forced Sound Beach's goalkeeper Dirk Rich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Donovan Grady managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Donovan Grady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Rich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donovan Grady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dirk Rich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Taylor Arrington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Taylor Arrington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dirk Rich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Murray during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Taylor Arrington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dirk Rich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Sound Beach's Tod Parker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Ott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taylor Arrington in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk Rich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dirk Rich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taylor Arrington, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bryce Crowley kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Green's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Colby Singletary in the 60th minute. Miguel Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Green was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Leal to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Sound Beach's Dirk Rich got control of the ball when Taylor Arrington tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Taylor Arrington got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Donovan Grady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donovan Grady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Sound Beach's goalkeeper Dirk Rich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taylor Arrington. Tod Parker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taylor Arrington blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dirk Rich having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Grady in the 78th minute of play forced Sound Beach's goalkeeper Dirk Rich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sound Beach's Dirk Rich got control of the ball when Taylor Arrington tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luciano Murray got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Donovan Grady came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Green fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Grady couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Donovan Grady took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dirk Rich to make any attempt to save it. Green were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
