Denny Jeffries came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hunter Schafer could save by the left post. In the 9th minute Boyd Nicholson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunter Schafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Saunders Blue Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Coles to maneuver through the defense. Sheldon Benedict's late challenge caught a Aztecs Premire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sheldon Benedict helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aztecs Premire booed when Saunders Blue Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sheldon Benedict didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aztecs Premire's Denny Jeffries got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saunders Blue Devils's goalkeeper Hunter Schafer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Sheldon Benedict shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damon Flint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denny Jeffries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Saunders Blue Devils booed when Aztecs Premire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Duvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denny Jeffries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hunter Schafer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denny Jeffries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lewis Coles hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hunter Schafer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denny Jeffries in the 40th minute. Hunter Schafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boyd Nicholson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Coles to strike the kick off in the second half. Damon Flint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avery Thome in the 52nd minute of play. Aztecs Premire's Boyd Nicholson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hunter Schafer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Jeffries, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aztecs Premire's Damon Flint proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Aztecs Premire from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyd Nicholson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hunter Schafer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Boyd Nicholson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Saunders Blue Devils's Hunter Schafer. Hunter Schafer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Saunders Blue Devils's Sheldon Benedict got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Boyd Nicholson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hunter Schafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Jeffries, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Saunders Blue Devils defense, Denny Jeffries kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hunter Schafer. The Saunders Blue Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hunter Schafer should have stopped the shot. Saunders Blue Devils's Avery Thome got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saunders Blue Devils's Hunter Schafer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Jeffries in the 87th minute of play. Denny Jeffries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hunter Schafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Jeffries, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Aztecs Premire players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
