After 5 minutes, Norbert Chacon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crucifyxae and the Adelanto AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Crucifyxae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Chacon to maneuver through the defense. Chase Irwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Juan Harris notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Crucifyxae's Federico McLeod. Federico McLeod was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Lugo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Adelanto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Lugo to maneuver through the defense. If Edward Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelanto AFC's Chase Irwin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Chase Irwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico McLeod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Carrasco in the 38th minute of play forced Adelanto AFC's goalkeeper Sydney Cooley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milo Miles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelanto AFC's Sydney Cooley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Carrasco in the 41st minute of play. Sydney Cooley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Carrasco in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Carrasco to make the kick off. If Chase Irwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohammad Mayfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Harris in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Federico McLeod, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chase Irwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico McLeod having to make a save. After 65 played minutes Crucifyxae got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Mayfield. After having played for 68 minutes, Emerson Matthews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adelanto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Matthews was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Harris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Federico McLeod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Edward Carrasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Cooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wallace Saunders was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crucifyxae's goalkeeper Federico McLeod, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Adelanto AFC's Edmundo Sutherland got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Edward Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
