Spectators: 7737 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolland Souza got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Sound Beach defense, Milo Miles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Rich. The Sound Beach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Rich should have stopped the shot. Ethan Drew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Federico McLeod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico McLeod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolland Souza in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Crucifyxae's goalkeeper Federico McLeod had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tod Parker. After 20 minutes, Luciano Murray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sound Beach and the Crucifyxae players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sound Beach's Luciano Murray got a free kick in the 21st minute. Crucifyxae's Edward Carrasco got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 27 minutes, Sherman Gray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crucifyxae's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sherman Gray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Sherman Gray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Rich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Crucifyxae booed when Sound Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Boyles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sound Beach's goalkeeper Dirk Rich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolland Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Federico McLeod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tod Parker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Federico McLeod made a huge save. Rolland Souza struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Federico McLeod didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sound Beach. Milo Miles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Rich having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Edward Carrasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dirk Rich was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The Sound Beach players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crucifyxae were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Carrasco to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Parker in the 56th minute of play forced Crucifyxae's goalkeeper Federico McLeod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edward Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Michaud hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Rolland Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico McLeod was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 82 played minutes Crucifyxae got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Michaud. In the 83rd minute of the match Terry Dolan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico McLeod skillfully saved the ball. If Edward Carrasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tod Parker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Crucifyxae's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Parker came free, but Federico McLeod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
