Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matt Manley in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Cooley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 played minutes Adelanto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Matthews. 80 minutes into the game, Moss Beach FC's Denis McDaniel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sydney Cooley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Pierre Alexander fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moss Beach FC's protests and gave Pierre Alexander a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Moss Beach FC got a freekick which was hit by Pierre Alexander. After 89 played minutes Adelanto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Saunders. If Matt Manley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matt Manley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Cooley having to interfere. Moss Beach FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Adelanto AFC for a fine match.
