Travis Bauman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Damon Flint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeff Arthur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damon Flint having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Aztecs Premire got a freekick which was hit by Leon Duvall. In the 21st minute, Travis Bauman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tallahassee FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Tallahassee FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ace Benson hit a great ball. Joaquin Fujieda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Derrick Lee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Aztecs Premire's Derrick Lee nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Fujieda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 35 played minutes Tallahassee FC got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Bellamy. Aldo Bacon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damon Flint. Aztecs Premire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Damon Flint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Tanner, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Travis Bauman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tallahassee FC's Jeff Arthur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damon Flint. Damon Flint yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Aztecs Premire's Boyd Nicholson pulled a muscle in his leg after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 54 minutes, Rubin Tovar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tallahassee FC and the Aztecs Premire players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Tallahassee FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubin Tovar. After having played for 61 minutes, Travis Bauman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallahassee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Travis Bauman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teddy Bellamy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Travis Bauman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Travis Baumans short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Damon Flint to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jeff Arthur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Aztecs Premire's goalkeeper Damon Flint had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Tanner. In the 81st match minute, Aztecs Premire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Felix to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tallahassee FC's Gustavo Keyes got a free kick in the 87th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Ahmed Gregg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aztecs Premire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tallahassee FC the free kick. After 95 played minutes Aztecs Premire got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Gregg. Tallahassee FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Aztecs Premire had won, even though Tallahassee FC had held more of the ball.
