With an all-out effort, Green's Randall Stafford threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Donovan Grady, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Bella Vista AFC's Randall Stafford got control of the ball when Taylor Arrington tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Mitch Sherrill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Donovan Grady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randall Stafford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Donovan Grady took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Randall Stafford to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th minute German Golden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Ott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Bella Vista AFC's Randall Stafford got control of the ball when Taylor Arrington tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mitch Sherrill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when German Golden got free with Ted Ott in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Bella Vista AFC's zone, Donovan Grady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randall Stafford came out of the goal and Donovan Grady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Grady in the 67th minute of play forced Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Randall Stafford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathanial Lemons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Randall Stafford came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Green's Donovan Grady. But to his dismay, Donovan Grady quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Green's Donovan Grady got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Randall Stafford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taylor Arrington in the 87th minute of play. If Taylor Arrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green's goalkeeper Ted Ott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sylvester Dobbins's late challenge caught a Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylvester Dobbins helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th match minute, Bella Vista AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvester Dobbins to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Green had won after a very even match.
