The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Federico McLeod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Isaac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6thth minute of the game Seth Madden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crucifyxae's Federico McLeod was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Chan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Carrasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Kirby Purcell kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Daren Farr sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Crucifyxae's Federico McLeod didn't even have to move. Federico McLeod came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by RedArmyFC's Seth Madden. But to his dismay, Seth Madden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Crucifyxae getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mohammad Mayfield hit a great ball. Federico McLeod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Madden in the 26th minute of the match. Milo Miles scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Chan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milo Miles in the 32nd minute. Milo Miles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Chan having to interfere. Seth Madden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. Crucifyxae's Federico McLeod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon Echols in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Vernon Echols made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seth Madden got free with Federico McLeod in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Curt Isaac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Madden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 minutes, Vernon Echols mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RedArmyFC and the Crucifyxae players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes RedArmyFC got a freekick which was hit by Vernon Echols. 63 minutes into the game, Milo Miles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crucifyxae's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RedArmyFC the free kick. A collision led to Crucifyxae getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Milo Miles hit a great ball. Vernon Echols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. Federico McLeod made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seth Madden in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Mohammad Mayfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milo Miles in the 72nd minute of play. Sherman Gray struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. David Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crucifyxae. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Edward Carrasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crucifyxae's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Carrasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Chan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vernon Echols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. Crucifyxae's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Vernon Echols scored to the left of an out of position Federico McLeod, making the score, 1-2.
