Randall Stafford came out of the goal and Donovan Grady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donovan Grady blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randall Stafford having to make a save. After 13 played minutes, Bella Vista AFC's Garth Cornett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ted Ott came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bella Vista AFC reached it. After 23 minutes, Stanton Hadley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bella Vista AFC and the Green players grew even worse after the yellow card. Green's Colby Singletary couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bella Vista AFC. Taylor Arrington recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Green's Taylor Arrington in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bella Vista AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Randall Stafford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taylor Arrington in the 38th minute of the match. If German Golden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Donovan Grady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randall Stafford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taylor Arrington in the 43rd minute of play forced Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Randall Stafford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Evan Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bella Vista AFC's Randall Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Grady in the 45th minute of play. Green's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Colby Singletary in the 47th minute. The audience was convinced that Donovan Grady's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randall Stafford was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Donovan Grady made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Donovan Grady who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bella Vista AFC's Randall Stafford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Taylor Arrington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bella Vista AFC's Randall Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taylor Arrington in the 56th minute of play.
