An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Harris in the 23rd minute of play forced Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Randall Stafford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Adelanto AFC's Sydney Cooley got control of the ball when German Golden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Micah Lowery hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. German Golden was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sydney Cooley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Sherrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 40 played minutes Adelanto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Matthews. In the 41st minute of the match, German Golden got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sydney Cooley was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 42nd minute, Mitch Sherrill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sydney Cooley. The goal made the score 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chase Irwin was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Golden in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Cooley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bella Vista AFC's goalkeeper Randall Stafford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Adelanto AFC booed when Bella Vista AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Dobbins didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emerson Matthews fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adelanto AFC's protests and gave Emerson Matthews a yellow card for diving instead. Adelanto AFC's Sydney Cooley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Golden in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jefferson Hooks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chase Irwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Randall Stafford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Sydney Cooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Golden in the 78th minute of the match. If Juan Harris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Adelanto AFC's Randall Stafford threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chase Irwin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute, Chase Irwin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Randall Stafford, passed just outside the right post. Adelanto AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
