Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mitch Sherrill made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when German Golden got free with Hunter Schafer in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Garth Cornett sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Saunders Blue Devils's Hunter Schafer didn't even have to move. If German Golden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Golden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hunter Schafer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saunders Blue Devils's Avery Thome got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Lewis Coles came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Saunders Blue Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Coles couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Mitch Sherrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunter Schafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bella Vista AFC's Randall Stafford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheldon Benedict in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Sherrill in the 34th minute of play forced Saunders Blue Devils's goalkeeper Hunter Schafer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Sherrill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hunter Schafer having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lewis Coles to strike the kick off in the second half. Mitch Sherrill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hunter Schafer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, German Golden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bella Vista AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but German Golden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hunter Schafer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hunter Schafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Sherrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saunders Blue Devils's zone, Mitch Sherrill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hunter Schafer came out of the goal and Mitch Sherrill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Golden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Saunders Blue Devils defense, German Golden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hunter Schafer. The Saunders Blue Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hunter Schafer should have stopped the shot. Sylvester Dobbins scored 2-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hunter Schafer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitch Sherrill struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Hunter Schafer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bella Vista AFC. In the 79th minute Mitch Sherrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunter Schafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hunter Schafer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Golden's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saunders Blue Devils's goalkeeper Hunter Schafer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Avery Thome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randall Stafford having to interfere. Eddie Munson's late challenge caught a Bella Vista AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddie Munson helped the player get up and apologised. Eddie Munson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Garth Cornett sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hunter Schafer skillfully saved the ball. In the 92nd minute, Mitch Sherrill made a precise shot to the right of Hunter Schafer. Saunders Blue Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Saunders Blue Devils's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
