The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for King of Prussia. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for South Park Township. Flint Parra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Collin Ransom. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rocky Curtis during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of King of Prussia booed when South Park Township was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocky Curtis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Trenton Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Pedro McGraw managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Park Township's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro McGraw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Collin Ransom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro McGraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 played minutes King of Prussia got a freekick which was hit by Tony Rocha. Flint Parra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Collin Ransom. King of Prussia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in King of Prussia's zone, Pedro McGraw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Collin Ransom came out of the goal and Pedro McGraw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rusty Nunn made a kick off. After 51 played minutes, South Park Township's Zane Ash shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Collin Ransom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in South Park Township reached it. South Park Township's Trenton Kirby got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Collin Ransom managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when South Park Township's Pedro McGraw fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro McGraw in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Collin Ransom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Trenton Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Collin Ransom having to interfere.
