Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jack Ritter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Jack Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Collins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Tuckahoe got a freekick which was hit by Theodore Dubois. Martin Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Brendon Solis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sol Collins was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Jack Ritter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jack Ritter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Jack Ritter came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the St Paul Trojans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Ritter couldn't finish the play. When Theodore Werner came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Tuckahoe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Werner couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Theodore Werner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendon Solis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jack Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Nickerson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sol Collins having to make a save. Sol Collins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ritter in the 40th minute of the match. Don Nickerson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sol Collins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tuckahoe's zone, Jack Ritter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sol Collins came out of the goal and Jack Ritter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After 53 played minutes St Paul Trojans got a freekick which was hit by Shelton Macias. After some careless play in the Tuckahoe defense, Don Nickerson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sol Collins. The Tuckahoe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sol Collins should have stopped the shot. If Don Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanner Pittman charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tanner Pittman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th match minute, St Paul Trojans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanner Pittman to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes St Paul Trojans got a freekick which was hit by Tanner Pittman. 74 minutes into the game, Theodore Werner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brendon Solis. Theodore Werner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Jack Ritter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Jack Ritter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sol Collins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theodore Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Brendon Solis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanner Pittman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Theodore Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodore Werner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Solis having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
