After a rather tough play, Canadian's King Zamora got a free kick in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Canadian's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Vogel came free, but Earl Godfrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canadian's goalkeeper Earl Godfrey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Sturgeon Bay FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Everett Agoos hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alberto Silver charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
