After 9 played minutes, Buchanan's Luciano Spivey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Titus Culver came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buchanan reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan's zone, Doug Adkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Parker came out of the goal and Doug Adkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trey Hoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Leroy Robison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Rafael Metzger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Titus Culver skillfully saved the ball. Donovan Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Parker having to interfere. Titus Culver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Hoff in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Jeramy Rouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Titus Culver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trey Hoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Doug Adkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Doug Adkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeramy Rouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Titus Culver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Trey Hoff made the kick off in the second half. Titus Culver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeramy Rouse went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Trey Hoff came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Buchanan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trey Hoff couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, DeMarcus Schafer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Parker. Buchanan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that DeMarcus Schafer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Trey Hoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Culver having to interfere. Trey Hoff struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Titus Culver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchanan. A hard shot 84 in the game by Jeramy Rouse from a close distance when the talented Titus Culver managed to make a qualified save. Muelblour FC's players were relieved. After 86 minutes, Jeramy Rouse made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Muelblour FC's Titus Culver tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Buchanan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
