After having played for 4 minutes, Theodore Dubois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuckahoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodore Dubois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Tuckahoe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Otto to maneuver through the defense. Guy Harrison, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Clayton Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Werner in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Ian Shook shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clayton Becker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tuckahoe's Sol Collins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Tuckahoe from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tuckahoe's goalkeeper Sol Collins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timmy Sterling kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jayson Michael during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Jayson Michael got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sol Collins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jayson Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Theodore Werner notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Clayton Becker. Clayton Becker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jayson Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sol Collins having to interfere. When Timmy Sterling fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuckahoe's protests and gave Timmy Sterling a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tuckahoe's Timmy Sterling got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jayson Michael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tuckahoe's Sol Collins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jayson Michael in the 51st minute of play. Wallace Numbers's late challenge caught a Dunsfold Interceptors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wallace Numbers helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodore Werner got free with Clayton Becker in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guy Harrison hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Dunsfold Interceptors FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Quincy Dodson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rusty Goddard in the 72nd minute of play forced Tuckahoe's goalkeeper Sol Collins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Collins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayson Michael in the 75th minute of play. Sol Collins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jayson Michael in the 76th minute of the match. If Theodore Dubois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Rusty Goddard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sol Collins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jayson Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sol Collins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wiley Dietz fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunsfold Interceptors FC's protests and gave Wiley Dietz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Wiley Dietz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Dunsfold Interceptors FC's Clayton Becker got control of the ball when Theodore Werner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodore Werner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Clayton Becker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
