When Theodore Werner came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Tuckahoe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Werner couldn't finish the play. A collision led to South Park Township getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rolland Perez hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of South Park Township:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tuckahoe:s goal. 23 minutes into the match, Tuckahoe's Martin Hughes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claude Bernard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Pedro McGraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Hughes in the 34th minute of play forced South Park Township's goalkeeper Claude Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Pedro McGraw made a precise shot to the right of Sol Collins. Tuckahoe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 95th minute, Santos Murray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Tuckahoe's Damon Otto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the South Park Township players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
