South Park Township's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro McGraw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clayton Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro McGraw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Pedro McGraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Dunsfold Interceptors FC's zone, Trenton Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clayton Becker came out of the goal and Trenton Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dunsfold Interceptors FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flint Parra was slow to take the kick. During this time South Park Township's players had a chance to rest. The corner led South Park Township's Flint Parra to fire away a dangerous shot which Clayton Becker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 65th minute, Mohammed Helms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Dunsfold Interceptors FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. In the 69th minute, Pedro McGraw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
