In the 22nd minute, Thongnam LP's Adalberto Taylor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Cincinnati's zone, Wyatt Holman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Gagne came out of the goal and Wyatt Holman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Adalberto Taylor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jesus Gagne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jagiellonia Cincinnati's Jesus Gagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Hammer in the 30th minute of play. Len Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jesus Gagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wyatt Holman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Gagne having to interfere. With a little luck, Jagiellonia Cincinnati's Jesus Gagne got control of the ball when Wyatt Holman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Gagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wyatt Holman in the 40th minute of play. Len Hammer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Gagne having to make a save. After 44 played minutes Wyatt Holman rounded Jagiellonia Cincinnati's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Jesus Gagne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wyatt Holman, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Louie Pickett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adalberto Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jesus Gagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Thongnam LP's Kris Boyd got control of the ball when Luther Michel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Louie Pickett kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kris Boyd. That made the score 4-1 in the 71 minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Adalberto Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thongnam LP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Taylor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louie Pickett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Boyd having to interfere. When Louie Pickett came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Jagiellonia Cincinnati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louie Pickett couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Thongnam LP's goal looked a bit too open when Louie Pickett came free, but Kris Boyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thongnam LP's Adalberto Taylor got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wyatt Holman in the 88th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Cincinnati's goalkeeper Jesus Gagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Jarrod Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louie Pickett hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Len Hammer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Gagne was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Jesus Gagne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wyatt Holman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Thongnam LP fully deserved thier win.
