Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jefferson Novak kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Thayer in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kirby Park prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alberto Thayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kirby Park tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Slaughter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Leo & Chivo's Alan Eaton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milton Norton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, East Orange's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnold Slaughter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 17 minutes into the match, Leo & Chivo's goal looked a bit too open when Jefferson Novak came free, but Kirby Park reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Thayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Kirby Park tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Norton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusty Connor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnold Slaughter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Leo & Chivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solomon Vela to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Hodges in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Arnold Slaughter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leo & Chivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Slaughter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Alan Eaton made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Novak in the 56th minute of play forced Leo & Chivo's goalkeeper Kirby Park to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Arnold Slaughter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leo & Chivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold Slaughter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Leo & Chivo's Alan Eaton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Milton Norton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Brock Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. East Orange's Milton Norton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Slaughter in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in East Orange's zone, Alan Eaton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milton Norton came out of the goal and Alan Eaton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Hodges during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leo & Chivo booed when East Orange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Hodges didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Jefferson Novak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Leo & Chivo's Alan Eaton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milton Norton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alan Eaton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Milton Norton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Leo & Chivo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Wiley Schaefer hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Arnold Slaughter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milton Norton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Slaughter, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Leo & Chivo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
