Thongnam LP's Kris Boyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tad Carney in the 19th minute of play. Thongnam LP's Kris Boyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Thongnam LP from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Jerome Medley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kris Boyd, 1-1. In the 25th minute, Adalberto Taylor made a precise shot to the right of Rodrick Hawk. Ricardo garcia Bernal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 29 minutes of play, Ricardo garcia Bernal's Davis Gutierrez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kris Boyd was left in no man's land by his defense there! Len Hammer hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Len Hammer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trey Berger was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Thongnam LP got a freekick which was hit by Trey Berger. If Wyatt Holman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wyatt Holman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rodrick Hawk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wyatt Holman was the one to do the kick off. Thongnam LP's Len Hammer got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes in the game, Theodore Ziegler fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rodrick Hawk having to interfere. The supporters of Thongnam LP booed when Ricardo garcia Bernal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Medley didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Len Hammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Wyatt Holman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Rodrick Hawk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes into the match, Thongnam LP's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Lucas came free, but Kris Boyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Ward Foreman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Thongnam LP's Kasey Bass quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Len Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rodrick Hawk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wyatt Holman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Wyatt Holman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thongnam LP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wyatt Holman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Len Hammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Len Hammer struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rodrick Hawk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thongnam LP. Theodore Ziegler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrick Hawk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Len Hammer in the 95th minute. When the match was over Thongnam LP could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ricardo garcia Bernal throughout the match.
