An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Walter in the 42nd minute of play forced Santa Clarita Currents's goalkeeper Rolland Sanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Santa Clarita Currents's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Wilburn came free, but Rolland Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 68 played minutes Sanluz FC got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Walter. Lenny Walter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Rolland Sanders made a huge save. Sanluz FC's Lenny Walter got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lenny Walter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rolland Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenny Walter kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Santa Clarita Currents's Rolland Sanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kory Shepherd in the 97th minute of play.
