Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dwayne Chamberlain took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Leo & Chivo's Arnold Slaughter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rocco Martin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Curtis Echols hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Gerard Cordero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rocco Martin skillfully saved the ball. After 7 played minutes Alpine got a freekick which was hit by Monroe Cash. In the 11th minute, Jacob Dickens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnold Slaughter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match Jacob Dickens sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rocco Martin skillfully saved the ball. Arnold Slaughter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirby Park made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwayne Chamberlain in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Leo & Chivo's Arnold Slaughter fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Arnold Slaughter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leo & Chivo's Alan Eaton in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alpine's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Alpine booed when Leo & Chivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Boone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dwayne Chamberlain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alan Eaton made the kick off in the second half. Alpine's Rocco Martin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Alpine from getting a goal against them. If Alan Eaton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, Leo & Chivo's Arnold Slaughter made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rocco Martin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Burnham in the 64th minute of play forced Leo & Chivo's goalkeeper Kirby Park to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Eaton in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rocco Martin saved Alpine from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Rusty Connor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leo & Chivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rusty Connor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rocco Martin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st match minute, Alpine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cason Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Dwayne Chamberlain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kirby Park read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Rocco Martin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnold Slaughter in the 80th minute. Calvin Burnham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Park having to interfere. Kirby Park took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Burnham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dwayne Chamberlain came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Alpine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dwayne Chamberlain couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Leo & Chivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solomon Vela to maneuver through the defense. King Ray took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kirby Park. Leo & Chivo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 95 minutes, Solomon Vela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leo & Chivo and the Alpine players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Leo & Chivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solomon Vela to maneuver through the defense. Calvin Burnham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kirby Park tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leo & Chivo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
