Yonkers's Neal Richardson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Redding in the 38th minute of play. Deshawn Mott hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Neal Richardson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Redding in the 44th minute of the match. Frankie Wolff scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neal Richardson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Redding to make the kick off. John Howard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winston Morgan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yonkers's zone, Frankie Wolff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neal Richardson came out of the goal and Frankie Wolff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Reynaldo Redding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicago Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Redding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chicago Knights getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rich Hodge hit a great ball. Neal Richardson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Wolff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chicago Knights booed when Yonkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wyatt Carrington didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chicago Knights's goalkeeper Winston Morgan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chicago Knights's Oren Parra got a free kick in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Yonkers's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Wolff came free, but Neal Richardson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oren Parra scored 3-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Neal Richardson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Winston Morgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Howard in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Redding in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neal Richardson saved Yonkers from getting behind. 88 minutes into the game, Chicago Knights's Frankie Wolff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Neal Richardson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Reynaldo Redding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Uribe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. John Howard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Winston Morgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neal Richardson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Redding in the 97th minute of the match.
