After 16 played minutes, Norway's Quintin Pierre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Louis Alfaro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Norway reached it. Sammy Person scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louis Alfaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilbur Biggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graham Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Sex Panthers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Redd came free, but Louis Alfaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Dwayne LeBlanc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sex Panthers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norway the free kick. The supporters of Norway booed when Sex Panthers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwayne LeBlanc didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Norway's Otis Bentley to fire away a dangerous shot which Louis Alfaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jay Redd took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Louis Alfaro. Louis Alfaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jay Redd to make the kick off. Wilbur Biggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Daugherty in the 54th minute of the match. Graham Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wilbur Biggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jay Redd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th match minute, Norway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Goldstein to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Graham Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sex Panthers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Graham Napier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 90th minute, Dexter Tucker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Graham Napier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Graham Napier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sex Panthers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graham Napier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
