Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chicago Knights's Reynaldo Redding started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Sex Panthers FC's goalkeeper Louis Alfaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frankie Wolff. Graham Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Chicago Knights's Frankie Wolff ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Louis Alfaro. Louis Alfaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Reynaldo Redding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Graham Napier came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sex Panthers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graham Napier couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Reynaldo Redding got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Frankie Wolff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis Alfaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Graham Napier made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sex Panthers FC's zone, Oren Parra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Alfaro came out of the goal and Oren Parra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Redding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frankie Wolff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Alfaro having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Dwayne LeBlanc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Frankie Wolff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicago Knights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Wolff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Graham Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winston Morgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frankie Wolff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Louis Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis Alfaro came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Chicago Knights's Reynaldo Redding. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Redding quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 75th minute, Dwayne LeBlanc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Chicago Knights got a corner. Sex Panthers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Deshawn Mott ran over to the corner to take the kick. Reynaldo Redding might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Louis Alfaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Redding ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keith Dwyer during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Louis Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Redding in the 95th minute of play. 99 minutes into the game, Rich Hodge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chicago Knights's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sex Panthers FC the free kick. In the 99th minute, Rich Hodge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicago Knights walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
